Archetti—which means “bow” in Italian—will be treating concert-goers to an evening of baroque masterpieces. This eight-person ensemble was formed in 2009 from the leading performers of early music in the Bay Area. The collective experience and artistry of Archetti’s members has allowed them to develop dynamic, historically-informed interpretations. In the best tradition of small baroque chamber orchestras, this group performs without a conductor.
