“The Christmas Ballet” kicks off the holiday season with a dazzling combination of classical ballet and rollicking character numbers, filled with all the sass and sizzle that has made the Smuin Ballet famous. The varied program of works offers something for everyone starting with traditional Bach and sacred carols, and moving on to klezmer, gospel, holiday standards and even a touch of Elvis. A delightfully enchanting performance from beginning to end, “The Christmas Ballet” never fails to send audiences home relaxed and ready to enjoy the season.

After the matinee performance on the 24th, Smuin’s special “Santa’s Sweets” program will offer an extra treat for young people with Santa Claus waiting to greet members of the audience with complimentary sweets.
